Hello, I have been gone for a while, busy with many things. I have a new job and have to move–and that’s all good except one thing. I have to leave my ICKSP parish here and move cross country where I can’t seem to find anything other than a once/month Latin at the Cathedral… Great, hope that becomes more, but in the mean time, is anyone on this forum in the Monroe, LA area??? I really am dreading going back to English 😦

I don’t blame you about the English.

Have you checked the listings? I’m not good with geography.

I suppose there’s always the Spanish option if that doesn’t work. There’s at least a trace of Latin aesthetics there. 🙂

Certainly if there is no EF or Latin OF, you can find the most traditional OF you can find otherwise.

Thank you all 🙂 There’s apparently one once a month in Shreveport, I will hope and pray that those seeds will grow 🙂

There isn’t one any closer than Shreveport. Have you been to St Matthew’s in Monroe? I recommend the 10:30 Mass on Sunday morning.

Thank you. I went to Shreveport Saturday for the Latin—nice drive, happy to do it. Both yesterday and last Sunday I went to St. Matthew’s, it’s close to my apartment and new job. I’ll be praying for the Latin to grow and dare I hope for an ICKSP apostolate some day 🙂

Please don’t feel you have to respond. I missed yesterday bc I was sick. Last Sunday, If you were wearing a beautiful black mantilla or a pretty flowery scarf I saw you and smiled. 😃 Welcome to Monroe.
