They are of equal Nature, but there is rank of authority in the godhead. Just like the President of the US has greater authority than a general in the army. Both are of the same human nature, but the president has rank of authority over him. Also, the angle about Jesus being human is good and you can use Phil 2 to demonstrate that he voluntary lowered his authority to the father.
There are verses that say that the Father sent both Jesus and the Holy Spirit. There are verses that says the Son sent the Holy Spirit. But, there are no verses that says the Holy Spirit sent either the Father, nor the Son – thus we have rank of Father, Son, Holy Spirit in the trinity.
John 8:42
Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.
John 15:26
But when the Comforter is come, whom** I will send **unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth, which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me:
John 8:42 demonstrates that the Son proceeded and was sent by the Father. John 15:26 tells us that Jesus will send the Holy Spirit which proceedeth from the Father.

do a word study in the gospels on the word glory, and you will see that Christ was here to glorify his father, and the the Holy Spirit in enseance glorifies both the Father and the Son.
