Triumph

I am sorry if I am asking about a subject that has been talked about a lot before but I was made aware of a movie recently called The Triumph. There was an insert in our church bulletin. It is not so much about the movie I am asking but, I believe the movie is about Medjugorje. Maybe someone can answer that because the website for the movie doesn’t really give that information but…

Mostly I am wondering why is this such a controversial apparition. I can’t seem to get a grasp on it. I look one place and it is a miracle and many are going there and many miracles and conversions are happening, then somewhere else someone says it is false.

Is it just that the Church hasn’t approved it yet and people are skeptical or is the Church like instructing us to be wary but then again it looks like there are articles where Pope Francis has approved of public talks by people who have visited Medjugorje.

Sorry, I am just a little confused.

I don’t know that it is controversial. It is unapproved by the Church. The local bishops have very skeptical about the Međugorje apparitions.
