Hello all,

This Thursday I will be giving a presentation on “Homosexuality and the Catholic Church” at my former university for their Catholic Student Association. This has been advertised on a university wide email for this weeks events and I am expecting members of the LGBT group and possibly the Secular Student Association to be there. If you can, please pray that I will be able to accurately present, and if necessary, defend the teachings of Christ and His Church in a loving and charitable way. I am a little nervous. God bless you.

I ask the Holy Spirit to guide, sustain, and protect you before, during, and after your presentation. May the Angels of God be with you now, then, and always.

Glory be to The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit
As it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be
World without end

Amen

That you do not choke up and do give a brilliant presentation, Lord, hear our prayer.

Praying for you to do a great job, :yup:;):D:rolleyes::cool:

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name; thy kingdom come; thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with thee. Blessed art thou among women, and blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners, now, and at the hour of our death. Amen.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit, as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. Amen. 👍

May the Holy Spirit assist you, and give you courage and ease in presenting the Church’s teaching. May you place all of your confidence in God’s merciful love and be totally abandoned to God’s merciful love. Amen.

Hi, if you find yourself as a minority and under aggressive attack during this presentation share a very powerful arugment for worshipping God as a Catholic. That consist of knowing that the offficial doctrinal teachings of the Church (including those on homosexual behavior) have not changed since Jesus Christ. So, to align oneself with the official teachings of the Church that Jesus establlished is a powerful ally. Especially, since the Bible teaches that the Church is the pillar and foundation of truth (1Tim 3:15) . The Church, the body of Christ and its teachings are very much like its Head, Jesus Christ, in that they both are the same, yesterday, today and tomorrow.

Good luck, and may the cup of life for you and yours always overflow with the love and grace of God. your friend, george.

Praying that the Holy Spirit will speak for you on that day …

Praying for the Holy Spirit to guide you to a brilliant presentation.

Thank you everyone! Just to update, the university edited the Catholic Student Association’s message so that it did not say that homosexuality was the topic of discussion. The censorship is upsetting but, we did have an incredibly blessed discussion. The Lord guided my words and our discussion. Praise Jesus for His guidance and thank you to our Blessed Mother for taking me into her care.

God bless you for your courage, kib.
And I praise and thank You Lord that everything went so well.
