Trouble choosing my confirmation name

Hello,
I am new to this website so I apologize if I am posting this in the wrong section:)

I need some help choosing my name for confirmation. I just can’t find anything that works!
I really want a name that
  1. belongs to a saint / catholic figure who I can relate to
  2. sounds decent
I have mostly been having trouble with the first part. I am an artist. And by that, I don’t mean I’m the kind of girl who says they are an artist because they “like to draw.” I truly feel like I think like an artist. I am very daydreamy… bitterly poetic ; everything is a metaphor to me. If you have ever read Lord of the Flies, I am all for the world like Simon (So much that I have considered choosing the name Simone, but I didn’t think my reasoning was just, so I decided against it).

I guess I am looking for a saint who symbolizes freedom, artistry, nature, independence…

Like a Bird… If only we could make up our own name & meaning!

I’m just really frustrated because I am late on turning in my essay on my confirmation name and I just can’t find the right name for me. There just aren’t many saints - or people, for that matter - who are like what I am describing. I just don’t want to choose a saint / person who I have no connection with. I have tried praying so much to God… but it is so hard for me to hear what He is saying:(

Any ideas? If any of you guys can help me find the saint / Catholic figure who is right for me I will be so grateful. I really want to have a prayful bond with whoever I choose - I want to follow in their footsteps.

You can also use your baptismal name if you don’t have a favorite saint. There is no rule that you have to choose a name for Confirmation.
 
You may want to consider Catharine, in honor of St. Catharine of Bologna
(1413-1463). She is considered a patron saint to artists.
 
Saints are honored for their heroic virtue. Which virtue do you feel you are in the most need of?

Julian of Norwich is not a canonized saint, and her actual name isn’t known. She was an anchoress attached to St. Julian’s parish. However, St. Juliana (or Giuliana) Falconieri was the foundress of the female branch of the Servite order in Florence and was known for her mystical experiences.
 
A lot of times it seems as though a saint will ‘choose’ you!

But my suggestion to you is St. Luke first of all. An artist, physician, and Evangelist.

My second thought is Bl. Elizabeth of the Trinity.

And then St. Therese of Lisieux–if you read her Story of a Soul you will see she also is a poetic thinker as is Bl. Elizabeth and both of those saints were young Carmelites.
