Cutie,
I would suggest going through a spiritual renewal program of some kind to kick start some spiritual growth. It will allow you to really explore your faith with other Catholics and perhaps make some new friends who will keep you accountable for going to mass and really living your faith. I went through Christ Renews His Parish (CRHP) which starts with a weekend retreat held at the parish for men or women. It is put on by the previous group of participants after they complete their spiritual formation together.
I now have a group of 34 women (my CRHP sisters from my actual team) who will share my faith journey for the rest of my life. I have also grown close to some women from the team which hosted my team and some women whom my team hosted. We may not all hang out together all of the time, but we see each other in smaller groups fairly often and call or email for support, fellowship and spiritual growth regularly. It helps to have women of all ages, stages of life and levels of spirituality to bond and support each other. I have sisters who love mass and are daily communicants and others who still struggle to get there on Sundays. I have some sisters with great husbands who help them to grow in their faith, some with not so great husbands and some with no husbands at all (like me).
Ditto on the suggestion to read The Lamb’s Supper by Scott Hahn. I would also suggest the Suprised by Truth series of 3 books by Patrick Madrid for some inspiring conversion and re-version stories. These books are collections of individual stories so they are easy to pick up and put down. I read one story per day while commuting to work on mass trans. It was really interesting for me to read about how other people came to the church or returned to the church with their unique perspectives on the mass or the Eucharist. Perhaps something in one of their stories will spark something inside of you?
