I was just wondering how you are getting on? After all the many responses, support and prayers I hope you are feeling more confident in yourself.
I have another story to share with you and I hope it can bring you comfort and hope.
I am a member of the scouting association and on the 20th December I delivered a peace light to our church. Below is the story of two young scouts from different countries sharing their peace. I do not know if there is a peace light been delivered to a near by church to where you live, but you may be able to access information via the Scout Association website and someone may no of a local scouting movement near to where you are.
Take the light and share the story with other memebrs of your family and friends, may it bring you love, happiness and peace. God bless you and all your families and friends. May God shine through you as an instrument of his love and peace to all mankind. Remember on thought from this we live in a broken world and although we feel broken at times it is the love, and light in the darkness that gives us the strength to go on for their is hope in the end of the tunnel and know that God is working every single second of the day.

THE BETHLEHAM PEACE LIGHT STORY…
After many years of successful co-operation with different scout movements the light has been spread into Croatia, The Czech republic, Liechtenststein, Luxembourg, Poland, Solvakia, Switzerland and troops in Kiev (Ukraine), Minsk (Bela Russia) and Moscow.
And in 1996 the Scouts and Guides of the UK were invited to accept THE LIGHT.
Our wish is:
‘That the distribution of the peace Light may bring Peace and Friendship throughout the world’
In November 2000 we heard that it looked as though the light would not be able to leave war torn Bethlehem.
BUT WE DID NOT GIVE CREDIT TO THE POWER OF THE LIGHT OF CHRIST.
A YOUNG 12 YEAR OLD Palestian Scout, risking his life, took the light from the Grotto of Christ’s Birth and carried it to the boarder. Here it was received by twin Israeli Scouts who raced it to TEL Aviv Airport where the Upperaustrian child was waiting. Never before have the words ‘Salaam Alekum’ (both expressions of peace) meant so much, coming from each side of a war zone.
The light has successfully been delivered to London for a special service where delegates from all over the uk took the light and distributed it throughout their regions.
Since then the idea has grown and this year the flame will travel to some 25 countries in Europe and to the USA, carried by Scouts and Guides and other youth organisations.
By keeping the light of peace at our Church we are participating in an International expression of peace and goodwill to all.
We invite any adult to take a light from the candle and prayer card from the basket near the light and share the message of peace to others and by sharing our peace and good will to others, we to act as a symbol of this light by proclaiming Gods message of Faith, peace, love and hope.
