Trouble Scheduling/Starting RCIA

Great to hear! God has your back. 🙂 I don’t think it’s common for parishes to run RCIA from January through November, so the fact that you found one such parish near you is truly providential! That’s awesome! 👍
 
Oh trust me, this parish is massive. I don’t doubt they have to hold RCIA in two groups for the year. The Church itself is like the size of a Cathedral, it’s pretty massive.

I wish I had that problem at my parish. 🙂 I’d love to offer multiple starting points for RCIA scattered throughout the year.
 
First meeting went relatively well, I didn’t talk much because of my social anxiety. Honestly I think more parishes should open up RCIA for different times of the year. I think that would bring more people to the Church. Flexibility is definitely something people like myself need with a super busy work schedule.

Well I managed to get lucky and I’m going to a parish that has RCIA in two different groups, one starting in the fall and one starting in January. Last night was the first meeting and it went pretty well. And I am very grateful that so many people do want me as a Catholic, I’m certainly trying to live up to the moral standards of a Catholic
 
Our parish’s flexibility generally means letting people join late. The first week of September when we started, there were only 8 people signed up for RCIA. Now, there are 21. I would absolutely hate to tell someone in October, “Sorry, you just missed it! We’ll see you in 11 months!”
 
We’re going through RCIA with the Alpha program, I think they said that more and more parishes are rolling it out because they’ve had success with it and parishes have seen growth from it
 
I have tried to make it a habit to pray each and every night before I go to bed, I feel better after doing so

I’m hoping so too. I guess it’s better late than never to build up your faith. Sometimes I feel kind of bad that I’ve gone to my early 20s without actually really making an effort to go to Church. I went to some protestant churches as a kid but that was only a handful of times.
