Other times I can barely see
Lately it occurs to me
What a long strange trip it’s been”

How easy it is to love and worship God when His Light is shining on us. I’ll bet any Christian can do that. But to love and worship Him when the Divine Light is withdrawn, that’s when to gain great merit. I suffer from severe depression and a few week ago I just wanted to die. I believe depression has value in God’s eyes and that He sometimes He tests us similar to the way He tested Job. It can be very difficult, but if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, keep the faith and praise the Lord!

Yeah, life can be strange. Keep the faith, as you say!

Praying for you.

Praying that your faith remains strong during the trials of severe depression. May God grant healing and peace to all who suffer from severe depression

We pray this intention to our Lord,
Lord, in your mercy, hear our prayer.

Mary.

Takes time, you pick a place to go, and just keep truckin’ on

Keep telling Jesus how much you love him, He will draw closer to you.
I love you. But Jesus love you much more. or I should say “best”

Yours
Jerry

I have a habit of praying to the Holy Trinity, but yes, whenever my mind wanders from God, I start to feel depressed. I find that keeping a part of my mind on God takes a lot of practice but is well worth the effort. I live like a hermit in solitude, but I listen to a lot of classical music, filled with sacred music, that brings me closer to God. When I feel depressed, I try my best to offer it up to God.
