Not according to St. A. Ligouri’s “Glories of Mary” quoted in post 2

So you think that saving someone makes you omnipotent? You need a serious reality check.
1 Cor: 9
22 To the weak I became weak, that I might gain the weak. I became all things to all men,
that I might save all.
You do realize that by believing Mary has the power to save people, you just mocked Christ, His Cross, Death, and Ressurection right?
John 14:
12 Otherwise believe for the very works’ sake. Amen, amen I say to you,
he that believeth in me, the works that I do, he also shall do; and greater than these shall he do.
Christ, being one, PERSON, offered a perfect Sacrifice and saved all of us. Here in John Gospel, he is saying, we can do greater things than that. O ye of little faith, beleive!
Here is an example of saving someone:
Lets go to
St. Matthew Chapter 9:
9:1. And entering into a boat, he passed over the water and came into his own city.
9:2. And behold they brought to him one sick of the palsy lying in a bed. And
Jesus, seeing their
faith, said to the
man sick of the palsy: Be of
good heart, son, thy
sins are forgiven thee.
My first question to you reading this is: **How did the man with palsy gain forgivness? ** He did not speak to Jesus, the text does not say that. The text does not glorify this man in anyway, so we know it wasn’t his righteousness (in fact he may have very well be a great sinner) . Any
inference you try to apply to the PERSON WHO WAS FORGIVEN is trying to inflate the text to make it say what you want it to say.
The answer is right there in the text.
“
And Jesus, seeing THEIR faith…”. Jesus saw the FAITH of the ones who brought him (being the man with palsy) and it was THEIR faith that moved Jesus to forgive!
This is something called, the
Communion of Saints.
The spiritual union of all
Christians living and the dead, those on earth, in
heaven and, in
Catholic belief, in
purgatory
So the Blessed Virgin Mary, being the august Virgin, the Mother of God, is in a very special place in the Kingdom of Christ, just as the mother of David was in a very special place in the Davidic kingdom (which the Kingdom of God is the fullfuilment of)
1 Kings 2:20
“
There is one small favor I would ask of you,” she said. “
Do not refuse me.”
“Ask it, my mother,” the King said to her, “for I will not refuse you.”
The Blessed Virgin Mary’s intercessory power is very powerful, in fact, after the adorable human nature of Jesus, it is the most powerful. Blessed are the clients of Mary, for in Her, Jesus was contained, and by Her, all have been saved, since her “YES” to the Holy Spirit, brought forth from her Immaculate womb, Jesus Christ, our Lord and God.
The one gave birth to our Head, Jesus Christ, must, consequently, give birth to the entire Body (Eph, 5:30). Therefore, Mary is the Mother of ALL Christians.
