True presense in the eucharist

=rovimax;6433249]Hello, just wanted to know what would have the right thing to do. Last January, I was invited for the offering of the Host. Accidentally, somebody bumped into my elbow and some host fell on the floor. One of the Layman from Knights of Columbus picked up the Host and put it back in the container. I froze, the only thing I was able to do was say “” Lord please forgive me.’’ I was afraid to take the Holy communion and after the mass I went to the Priest and wanted to go to confession but he said there’s nothing to confess and it was an accident and nobody is to blame. Is it correct just to put the Host back into the container? I don’t know if the Host are new or if it was offered previously from an earlier mass? Thanks.

  1. Been picked up by you and consumed by you
  2. Someone ought to have palced a purificator over the spot
  3. After Mass the spot should havew been cleaned
  4. Ordinary [every day; evey where; nearly every Mass is HARDLY Extrodinary] ministers
    of Jesus Christ OUGHT to be so trained.

Thank you for taking the time to read it ! I only wish I could get more people to do so.

It first came to me in a rather amazing way, from a peasant woman in a field in Europe. I would have passed it by had it not been for a wonderful old priest coming by, insisting that I take one from her.

Good luck with your retreat. A retreat discussion based on this would be wonderful !
I have done an outline on the booklet, “What really happens in each part of the Mass”.
You can order bound copies from the website for less than a dollar . We have gone thru 500+ at our parish.
It saddens me that so many Catholics will not take time to read something of their faith-even a short as this… but i can tell you this, no one who does read it ever fails to re-read it many times !

I sent a copy to my priest. Even though he receives tons of things to read, he will read it, I promise you. He trusts me and knows I don’t send him junk.

Also, if our retreat director approves, I’ll order 50 of them. And yes, I plan on sending it to other ACTS members in our community.
