It is solidly Catholic or definitely was. Both of my children went there and loved the Newman Center and were very active. They each met their spouse or fiancé there. I know of several vocations to religious life amongst their friends. I will say that the previous priest/chaplain passed away last spring and since my children are graduated, I have not heard anything of his replacement to give you a current status. I highly recommend the “Awakenings” retreat usually in February; I continuely heard awesome things about it and I know a lot of preparation goes into it.
