Excellent summary, but it left out an important point. If Trump would freely resign, it would be Pence to assume the role of the president. And Pence could and probably would issue a general pardon to allow Trump to walk away scot-free. That would be a travesty, of course, but what is one more travesty among all that happened so far.

Of course not even a pardon could be issued to prevent the states and individuals to pursue further legal actions, so maybe it would not be completely scot-free.

True, that would prevent the newspaper headlines on November 4th: “Trump, you loser, you are fired!”

But we need to find a way to ensure space alien DNA is not used in therapeutic drugs and vaccines, that demons and witches don’t spread STDs in dreams, and that the Illuminati and Reptilians who have infiltrated world governments can be defeated!

Only then will we be safe!
