Trump tells UN to hold China accountable for coronavirus pandemic

‘The United Nations must hold China accountable for their actions,’ he said

President Trump on Tuesday told the United Nations that it must hold China accountable for its failure to contain the coronavirus in the early days of the pandemic – and declared the World Health Organization “controlled” by Beijing.

“The United Nations must hold China accountable for their actions,” Trump told the U.N. General Assembly on Tuesday, separately calling the virus “The China Virus.”

The administration has long blamed Beijing for its botched handling of the virus, which originated in Wuhan, China before becoming a worldwide pandemic, and has called on the international community to join in its own efforts to investigate China’s actions.

China apparently has some deep pockets, WHO World Health Organization chief Tedros has been accused of being allied to China.

China is spreading their influence around, we need to be alert to that.

Australia has been calling for an investigation on China for the last six months or so, subsequently China has imposed sanctions on certain products from Australia just out of spite.

It seems like Communist China is beating the capitalists at their own game.

Use their own people as a source of cheap labor for greedy corporations and get the resulting money to buy off the United Nations and to bully other nations.

Kudos to Australia for being courageous enough to stand up to a belligerent bully.

China is Australia’s main trading partner but now from what I’ve read they are looking to form other trade alliances with other countries, India and Japan are one that is being looked at, thus reducing the reliance on dealing with China. China is not winning any friends with its belligerent attitude.

China is just playing tit for tat with Australia. We have a shortage of plastic buckets but really, we can make our own, we , as in a few other countries , need to remember how to manufacture our own products.
Thanks to covid for stimulating those memories.
We have had a big campaign going for quite a few years

Buy Australian.
