Two thngs suprise me about this thread:
  1. There are actually people who watch “The View”
  2. they admit to doing it!🙂
I am equally suprised by people who watch “The Apprentice” and claim that Trump is a nice, charitable person. 🙂

Never seen that either. Guess I live a sheltered life.

Has Trump, BTW, slimed our Pope as Rosie has?

You’re right on the money! The only reason she is on the view, is to say stupid things, and try to raise their sagging ratings. She is the cover girl for the gay-lesbian agenda in this country.
Of course she is- and they just love how she likes to say she is a devout Catholic (she went on and on about that when she came out of the closet on the news like 10 years ago or so). (My only criticism of the post that you quoted was that I’m sure there are better ways of saying how you feel about someone then saying things anyone with a first-grade vocabulary could say).

:rotfl: :rotfl: I can safely, and morally, admit that I don’t watch The View. Never interested me in listening to four women blab about nothing in general and give their opinions about everything in life. And those opinions are not ones to which I agree. And the more I hear the “semi-conservative” one is bashed, silenced, etc… the more I’m not interested in The View or the people that watch it.

I also don’t watch The Apprentice. Doesn’t interest me.
😃 😃

While I agree a little bit with what you say about Rosie, that is NOT a classy comment to make by any means. You may agree with it or find it amusing, but not classy. It’s still an insult.
I see what you mean, and actually when I was typing that thread, I spent a few minutes (that’s a fact) trying to think of a better word than “classy.” Nothing else I tried would quiet fit.

An almost perfect fit would be “facetious” but even that is not exactly what I wanted to say.

Classy fit because what the Pope was quoted as saying was a little edgy. As you say, insulting. In other words…classy. At least I think so. He stated a fact and in the same words that described the fact, he made a little social commentary. You’re free to disagree.

No, but I don’t know why we should expect a lesbian to say nice things about the pope.

Rosie claims to to be a devout catholic?

I think they both need to GROW UP! It amazes me how grown people with their amount of money choose to behave like high school kids.
They don’t behave like high school kids. High school kids at least have some dignity.

🙂

What frightens me is that Rosie thinks SHE is a moral compass for this country!
If she does, she really needs to have her mirror smashed, for she’s worshipping it too much.

I thought she was spouting relativism, as she wanted sexual morals to be redefined to accept her lifestyle.

Becuse he want her turn away from her sinful life and experience the joy of returning to the Lord. He is acting out of love, she is acting out of hate.

There was an old Japanese movie, by the name of Kingu Kongu tai Gojira ("King Kong vs. Godzilla"), where one of the government officials says something like “If we are lucky maybe these two monsters will destroy each other.”

Well, she’s not acting out of hate. She believes she’s defending her dignity. She’s wrong, but she genuinely feels attacked by the church, and it’s not hard to imagine ho she can feel that way.

Typically we hate when something that can hurt what we love, so she could really be acting in defence and hate at the same time. That said I don’t know and their is no way I can judge her intentions.
