That’s going to require repealing amendment 22–and good luck with that! If it were as easy to do as it is to talk about it, we’d be amending and repealing parts of the Constitution all the time.

It’s amusing to see how alarmed people get when he jokes about this stuff.

Also, I bet if Obama had joked about a third term, the media would have been talking about it like it was a good idea.

Is he joking?, maybe he’s punting on an even bet. Maybe he’s throwing it out there to see if there’s a groundswell of his base supporters who would back him pushing a third term, just here on this thread there are those who would back such a move. If there wasn’t a groundswell from his base supporters then he’d just pass it off as a joke, so he’d have it covered both ways, pretty shrewd huh.
 
He’s joking. He also knows it will push buttons among his opposition. He likes to push buttons and his fans like him to push those buttons. In reality I think he will be happy if he just wins a second term, then he can retire, write books, play golf, and go on tour from time to time. He has no interest in being a dictator or having the Presidential job long term.

Yes, this is it. The first term has been effectively stolen or however one would describe it. The opposition has done all to nullify a free election. America should never be like this.
 
I find it laughable when these comments get so many so disturbed. Of course he was kidding. Lighten up, folks.

I am glad ISIS is defeated, at the least their Caliphate busted and not terrorizing and persecuting Christians, I am glad I am not seeing North Korea threaten neighbors and firing off missiles all the time. It is great having a Pro-life president. To each their own.

So Trump wants a third term and apparently Kamala Harris plans on being the president.Yesterday she slipped and talked about what it would be like under a Harris presidency…🤨

Or ammo and gun sales would have increased even more than they had since he had been elected.
