People are way too inconsistent and imperfect to put their trust in. Instead of trusting people, one should trust God.
That statement is too broad and lacking in context.People are way too inconsistent and imperfect to put their trust in. Instead of trusting people, one should trust God.
God Himself said it through His prophet Jeremiah. “Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.”That statement is too broad and lacking in context.
We aren’t supposed to rely on people. We are supposed to put our confidence in God that He will lead those in authority to make the right decision. When we talk about “trusting people”, are we talking about trusting the Pope to lead the Church?
So far, it’s worked for me.I cannot imagine though going through life without trusting people.
I hope you’re not married. So far, it’s worked for me.
Why would my heart be open to trusting anyone but God?Then I’ll pray that your heart opens to trusting.
What does that have to do with anything? Besides this isn’t coming from me: this comes from God Himself.I hope you’re not married.
Is that what I said? Check Jeremiah 17:5 and get back to me.

We do not have a complete thought until we have the full sentence. One can trust in man. But the danger is trust AND making flesh his strength AND whose heart turns away from the LORD.God Himself said it through His prophet Jeremiah. “Thus says the LORD: “Cursed is the man who trusts in man and makes flesh his strength, whose heart turns away from the LORD.”
Better to trust in God than in humanity, who as a whole has filthy rags for good deeds. One can trust in man
