Try to get everybody to like you?

Have you ever fell for this - trying to make everybody to like you?
I had struggled about this from time to time, but it is time for me to say “No” to it - it will be too prideful.

Tryiing to get everyone to like you is an impossible task, as I’m sure you found out. God didn’t ask you to be a people pleaser. He wants you to be yourself. That’s who He made you to be. Of course, we can truly, only, be that within His love and mercy. Sometimes it means saying things that aren’t popular. We may even be accused of being “rude.” But that’s what it takes sometimes.
