Trying to come back...pray for me?

But I’m so scared of going back…I’m scared of facing God in confession. I’m scared to be so vulnerable to God again…I’m scared of facing these issues again, when I closed my heart off for so long.

Do not ever be afraid of coming back to the Church through Confession. Jesus is waiting for you with open arms to receive you. He does not force himself on you. He patiently waits for you with love and forgiveness. Just go to him and feel his loving embrace through absolution. You will be in my prayers.

So I went this morning. It was so beautiful. I had tears in my eyes throughout the entire thing, and it was all I could do to stop myself from crying out loud during the part when the bread and wine become the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ. I couldn’t take part in the Eucharist, but I did cross my hands in front of my heart and recieved a blessing. I came home and my mother looked at me and asked how it was…I told her…

“I think I’m gonna make it a sunday habit.” My mom cracked up. Thank you guys so much for the prayers again…
