I hope someone can help me.

I’ve been trying to find a Polish translation of the Catholic Bible for a birthday present but haven’t been able to find a complete version.

Does anyone possible know of a resource where I can find a nice one? I would prefer the Douay-Rheims version, but any good Catholic version will do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

God bless and thanks.

The D-R is specifically an English Bible.

You can read the Biblia Tysi?clecia online here.

The fifth letter in “Tysi?clecia” that will not display here looks like an “a” with a little tail hanging underneath.

Thank you all for the great resources. 👍

I’m sure I’ll be able to find a nice Bible for my friend.

Hey,

From a former So. Jersey guy, hello! I now live in Doylestown, PA where we have the National Shrine of Our Lady Of Czestochowa. Many Polish people come up here. They have a large bookstore, and I know I have seen Polish Bibles and other Polish books there!

You are about 45 min to 1 hr from there. Maybe bring your friend. On Sunday, they have Mass in both Polish and English. Attached is a link. The Shrine is a BEAUTIFUL and SPIRITUAL place. We are blessed.

This shrine sounds wonderful, it’s definitely worth a trip. She’s been in the United States for 14 years now and used to attend Polish masses in Brooklyn. I know she’d love this. I speak no Polish myself, but can understand her furstration. Praying calls for a inner conviction and since she thinks in Polish still, prayer and Scripture reading is difficult for her in English.

Thanks for the info, you’re right, it was a God incident. 🙂
