Trying to find a good Catholic church in Los Angeles area.. suggestions?

Hello all,

I need your suggestions… For those of you who have been or live in the LA area, can you name off any conservative/orthodox Catholic churches in or near the West Hollywood area?

My sister’s boyfriend (who is Russian - Orthodox by name) is trying to find a church and is willing to investigate any Catholic church that may be good for him to go and check out. I know a lot of the LA diocese is very liberal, and finding a good church in the area is pretty hard - from what I’ve heard. That’s why I’m relying on anyone’s insight from these forums, since many people in here seem to be conservative Catholics 👍

So… any good Latin or Eastern rite Catholic churches in the LA area? I’m up for suggestions so fire them at me! Thanks! :blessyou:
 
In the North Hollywood area I would recommend St. Anne’s Melkite Church. It’s a Byzantine Church so it’s consistent with what he’s used to. If he wants to drive a little further, he might consider St. Andrew’s Russian Catholic Church in El Segundo.

Thanks for the suggestions! I’ll be sure to tell him and my sister about those churches.

How about a good Latin rite/Roman Catholic church? Anyone else?
