Trying to find a Priest with background in Demonology/Exorcism

This is a bit of an odd request, but maybe someone here can help me. I’m trying to find a priest with experience in demonology or exorcism. I have a bit of a problem on my hands, and I need an expert opinion. It should be a Catholic priest (a real one, in Communion with the Pope).

If you happen to be such a priest or if you know of one, or if you can at least point me in the direction of where to find one, please send me a private message.

I posted this on other parts of CAF too; I hope that’s okay. I’m not trying to spam the Forums, and I wanted to be sure that this message would be seen.

Have you tried discussing this issue with your parish priest?
 
call your parish priest he will refer you to the chancery for the name of the priest who is appointed exorcist for the Diocese.
 
I don’t have a priest for you, but thought I’d let you know about a resource you may find helpful.

The St. Pio Center for Deliverance Counseling is a Catholic deliverance ministry that provides the following services:
  • Counseling with people who are having spiritual warfare problems that are beyond their capacity to handle.
  • Counseling with people who are actually demonized but do not qualify for a solemn exorcism.
Before contacting them for counseling, they require that you complete the Seven Steps to Self-Deliverance, which you can find on their Help page.

Yeah, I thought about doing that, but frankly I thought it would be too embarrassing to do. While I trust the priest to be discrete, the secretaries around there might not be.

I forgot to make it clear in my original post that it isn’t an exorcism that I need. All I need is to get an expert opinion on something, so I don’t need an exorcist to be here with me; a phone call or some e-mailing would do.

Father Corapi comes to my mind. I think you can e-mail him. Just ask us maybe we can help, change the names to protect them.
Ask in the apologists forum.🙂
 
The Chancery would have this information, if indeed there is a priest in your area with that training. It is rare these days.
