Trying to get rid of things

Lately I have been trying to clean out my belongings and give things away, throw things away etc. I have come across some rap tapes with pretty bad themes and vulgarity along with some video games with bad content such as violence and sexual themes. What should I do with these things? I know a person at work that loves video games, can I give them to him hoping he is mature enough for the games, or do I just throw the stuff away. Can I sell these things since we do have credit card debt?

I also have a box of comics that I want to give away and think that selling it may be too much of a hastle. My wife wants me to sell them becuase we are in debt but her cousin loves collecting comics and I trully want to give them all to him. Should I sell some and give the rest away? I really just want to be generous and give it all away.

If it has questionable content that could lead someone to sin, destroy it and call it done.

Charity begins at home. If your own family is in debt, take care of your family, they are your first responsibility. Then if there is anything left over give it away.

It seems scandalous to give others something you now consider inappropriate for yourself and no longer want.
