Trying to make a deadline and feeling unstable

I am ashamed to post here because it’s the same story. Due to bad time management, I am unsure if I can make a deadline that’s tomorrow. When this happens, my anxiety mixes with all my other spiritual issues that I have caused through neglect and I get really agitated and mentally unstable. I haven’t gotten a good night’s sleep in 2 days and I am all over the place mentally right now. I just finished the rosary and I wanted to ask for your prayer, that I wouldn’t commit a mortal sin and that I will somehow finish this project and have the fortitude to avoid near-occasions of sin. It feels like I have grieved God and caused Him to be distant from me, and I just need your prayer, because I don’t know what to do.

Believe that God is always close to you. Trust in Him, first. As an editor at a book publishing company, I am sometimes distracted so I have forced myself to take notes, to prioritize, and meet my deadlines. Just tell yourself, “I can only do one thing at a time,” and follow your list. I’ve been there too

Thank you so much for your prayers, Maria. I am very grateful to you. The project went fine, and the Lord was faithful even when I was a mess. I realize by reading this, with that deadline well over, that I need to trust God more with things like this, and that I need to be more thankful when He has answered prayers.
