If you are a female Catholic, can you have your tubes tied? Is this a sin?
 
I would think so. It seems to me as a form of contraseptive which is a sin. So I wouldn’t see I it wouldn’t. But, there is proboly someone more knowlegable about it than I to tell you.

Having your tubes tied is, indeed a very grave sin. It is sterilization - the mutilation of healthy organs.

Do not do it. But, if you have done it, repent, go to confession and receive absolution.
 
Ditto what Joan said. The Church is very clear on this one—there’s no wiggle room.
