The revelation Wednesday that Hunter Biden is under investigation for tax violations relating to his foreign business affairs confirms that the media/Big Tech censorship of stories during the election about his laptop and emails was entirely without merit.
When the New York Post reported on October 14 that Hunter Biden had introduced an official from the corrupt Ukrainian energy company Burisma to then-Vice President Joe Biden — contrary to the latter’s denials that he had ever spoken to his family about their businesses — Facebook announced that it would be suppressing the story, and Twitter prevented people from sharing it. Those who dared were suspended; the Post itself was locked out of its account for more than two weeks.
When the Post followed up with reporting that Hunter Biden had launched a joint venture in 2017 with the CEFC China Energy Co., and that he had reserved 10% for the “big guy,” the media deliberately ignored the story. Never mind that the intended CEO of the new company, Tony Bobulinski, corroborated the story. Never mind that Breitbart News reported independent emails that showed Hunter Biden’s associates bringing Chinese bigwigs to the Obama-Biden White House.
In the final presidential debate, Joe Biden called the story a “Russian plant,” . . . Biden lied to to America, as Big Tech and the media applauded.
Now, after the election, we are learning that the laptop is central to the case against Hunter Biden. CNN — which spiked the story in October — reported Wednesday that the tax inquiry included questions about a gift from Ye Jianming, CEFC’s founder. Fox News reported that the laptop, seized by the FBI last year, was central to the investigation against Hunter Biden.
Instead of investigating the story, Silicon Valley and the mainstream media censored it. …

The conservatives knew about all this long before the election because their news sources are so much better than the MSM propaganda outlets.
I think many of the MSM-consuming people actually believed the Hunter Biden story was a Russian plant.
Others out in the real world just went along with the MSM spoof to manipulate fence-sitter voters.
As I said. The conservatives here knew better.
Now that Hunter publicly admits it,
and Twitter no longer has to pretend
that it is “unverified”,
the people who eat leftist news will learn about this too.
It MAY be an effort by the left to start to RID THEMSELVES of Joe Biden.

It was a ‘conspiracy’ theory shouted down and stifled by the media establishment. Until it wasn’t.
It’s now clear that the Hunter Biden story was real, with Hunter himself acknowledging a federal probe into his taxes — one that reportedly began in 2018. Really, it was always clear. Yet, when the New York Post broke the details, virtually the entire journalistic establishment and left-wing punditsphere defamed the newspaper, claiming it was passing on Russian “disinformation” or partisan fabrications.
The political media quickly began pumping out process stories about the alleged discord in the Post ’s newsroom and about the problems with the reporting. In so doing, of course, they did practically no reporting on the substantive allegations that Joe Biden’s family had spent years cashing in on his influence. Tech companies, spurred on by these censorious journalists, shut down the account of one of America’s most-read newspapers to inhibit users from reading the story. It was completely unprecedented. . . .
. . . . In October, the New York Times ran a piece headlined, “New York Post Published Hunter Biden Report Amid Newsroom Doubts.” Today, the same Times reports that, “Biden team has rejected some of the claims made in the Post articles, but has not disputed the authenticity of the files upon which they were based.”
The crux of the case against disseminating the Post ’s story was that the emails found on Hunter’s laptop may not be real . . . All reporters had to do, it seems, was ask.
In October, left-wing sites such as the Daily Beast were featuring headlines that read, “Russian State Media Is Desperately Trying to Keep the Hunter Biden Story Alive” and “FBI Examining Hunter’s Laptop As Foreign Op, Contradicting Trump’s Intel Czar.” Today we learn from the same outlet that “evidence of [a money laundering] probe [into Hunter Biden] was apparent in the markings on a series of documents that were made public — but went largely unnoticed — in the days leading up to the November election.”

No they haven’t. At least honestly.
They fooled their viewers into thinking the story was Russian disinformation or Rudy’s tricks (without “substantiation”).
Some fools fell for that.
Other’s knew but didn’t care as truth is meaningless to them when the ends justify the means. They will find out how wrong they are at their judgment.
Other people were innocently mislead by the media.
As I said. The conservatives knew the real story all along. Despite the propaganda.

That’s is what I believe happened, the tech companies and MSM didn’t want stories run on Hunter Biden and his likely corrupt business dealings in order to help Joe Biden win. I suspect if there was a scandal before the election Joe Biden would not have done as well as he did.

I am inclined to speculate that given a choice, the companies would prefer a Biden presidency over a Trump presidency. While they both have some negative views some of the larger technology companies, Trump’s position is more personal, and he has already caused more problems for them. Including, but not limited to, the travel bans, policies against immigrant workers, and most recently, reacting negatively to bad publicity on a couple of social media sites by prohibiting one from operating in the USA and trying to block a defense bill unless legal liabilities for another were raised.
Likewise. I’m glad there was no “October Surprise.”
Is that a federal investigation? As the exiting administration has set some new precedents for exercising pardon power, if those investigations do come to something, I wonder if President Elect Biden would exercise the same power.

Could be, Biden might end up having to pardon many of his family members for criminal activity. It will be interesting to see how far the investigations go. Wondering too if the investigation will go to the top, Joe Biden, finding he was involved in taking funds from other countries with the work his son Hunter was involved in. I hope other countries, in particular communist China, do not have a huge influence upon Biden, but we might be finding out in in the near future.
