And what do you suppose his Church truly is?I guess it all goes to prove that his Church isn’t the Roman Catholic church.

Sorry Its Matthew 1:25 my finger must have hit the wrong Key and I didn’t catch it.Not sure what Bible you’re reading, but Matthew 2:25 does not exist. Neither in print or online.
The Bible I have says “firstborn” but I don’t think that makes much of a difference… The title firstborn can easily be considered a simple title. It doesn’t neccessarily mean she had other sons, but it was more of a legal description as shown in Deuteronomy 21:15-17, it outlines the entitlements of a firstborn son.
It certainly is NOT an institution. And what do you suppose his Church truly is?
that makes two of us.Sorry Its Matthew 1:25 my finger must have hit the wrong Key and I didn’t catch it.
Deut. 21:15-17 says, 15 “Suppose a man has 2 wives, but he loves one and not the other, and both gave him a sons. And suppose the firstborn son is the son of the wife he does not love, 16 When the man divides the inheritance, he may not give the larger inheritance to his younger son, the son of the wife he loves. 17 He must give the customary double portion to his oldest son, who represents the strength of his father’s manhood and who owns the rights of the firstborn son, even though he is the son of the wife his father does not love.”
With this you are saying one of a few things about Mary and Joseph. 1. Joseph had more the one wife and loved Mary and not the other. 2. Jesus had other brothers and he was the fristborn of the wife that Joseph loved and would get the inheritance of Joseph. What I don’t see it the word “only son” all I see here is there are other brothers present. Now it would make sense that if Jesus was the only son he would automaticly get the inheritance.
Even the word firstborn could mean and probably does mean that Mary had other children besides Jesus, otherwise it would say the only child.
I don’t see how this proves your point.
Or maybe it just means what it says. Not sure what Bible you’re reading, but Matthew 2:25 does not exist. Neither in print or online.

well, you can say I guess all you want…I guess it all goes to prove that his Church isn’t the Roman Catholic church.
