I’m feeling as good as I have felt in the last year and a half. I try not to think too much, but I think I’m coming to a new realization that I may just live and not just live another six months, but years. And yet I don’t know how to go back to normal, or if that is even something I should try. I’ve always believed that we get changed by life and that is more or less god’s will. And our response to these trials bring us closer to God.

So my latest thoughts, which could be too soon, are something like, does God want me changed? I often feel like I should help other cancer sufferers…like a volunteer or something. I also feel the “call” to play music more - one of my natural gifts that I nurtured fo decades, but now do my,usic job behind a desk. I often get the urge to go play music as the commuters get on and off the trains. This experience makes me look at life differently and I think people are so wrapped up in the day to day 9 to 5, pay the bills, try your best.

I guess what I’m trying to say ia that I have been out of the normal world for over a year and a half. And I’m far from normal. Someone today described it as the illness totally defining every day of my life since Feb 2010, but, that it may change soon if that last tumor disappers.

Not sure if this makes sense but THANK YOU FOR THE PRAYERS!! 😃

Dear Lord I thank You for guiding all medical professionals involved in Tims care to have the skills and knowledge to heal him.We thank You for the blessings that his cnacer is shrinking and for the opportunities of new procedures that would help Tim.Lord please grant Tim complete healing and fill his heart full of confidence that he will know Your love for him.Lord we pray Tim will be healed to continue to raise his beautiful children and support his beautiful wife.Lord in Your mercy hear our prayers Amen

the patron of hopeless cases of things despaired of,
pray for our friend TIM who is sick and so miserable.

A Prayer to St. Peregrine for Sick Relatives and Friends

O great St. Peregrine, you have been called “The Mighty”, the “The Wonder Worker” because of the numerous miracles which you obtained from God for those who have turned to you in their need. For so many years you bore in your own flesh this cancerous disease that destroys the very fiber of our being. You turned to God when the power of human beings could do no more, and you were favored with the vision of Jesus coming down from His cross to heal your affliction. I now ask God to heal these sick persons whom I entrust to you:

Aided by your powerful intercession, I shall sing with Mary a hymn of gratitude to God for His great goodness and mercy.

the darkness, I ask you now to send forth your miracle-working power to heal (TIM). You cleansed the lepers, opened the eyes of the blind and by
speaking a simple command, you empowered the crippled to rise up and walk.
You sent forth your life-giving power to all those in need, including those you raised from
the dead. I ask you to send forth your healing power into TIM’s body and give him the strength to fight his illness. I ask this through my Lord, Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever. Amen
