The Sacred Polyphony is of such quality and beauty… it’s magnificent! Imagine millions of Catholics being exposed to such true Catholic treasures.

if only I had it on my cable. Where I live the area is more then 90% protestant. We get a “I’m saved” kinda version of it. My PC won’t load videos on EWTN too for some reason.

If you can not get it on EWTN,

turn to FOXNews… they have the same camera feed, and some decent coverage with two priest commentators… not as constant as EWTN (they do cover other items too), but rather good…
I go back and forth

got it thanks. I went into that chapel that their singing in only two weeks ago!

I wonder what it is like to sit next to the pope? I wouldn’t be able to control my self!:extrahappy:

Try CNN as well. They have it live with a Priest as well. 🙂

It’s stunning.

If you are using Windows Media Player, hook-up to EWTN. Then after you get the error message that the list cannot be read, at the top of the screen click on “show list pane” then on the right click on EWTN and it should start.

If that dosen’t get it, download (if you don’t already have it) and use Winamp to view EWTN on-line.

holiest person I’ve ever been to is my parish priest. Haven’t even been confirmed! I would probably drop to the floor, and shake, and make a fool of my self! 😛

Wow! :extrahappy: I have been sitting here watching and singing my little heart out! Does anyone know whose setting of the Magnificat that was? And the Pater Noster!!! Haven’t sung that in many a year! That was just splendid!

pope is about to talk! Still can’t believe I was there only 2 weeks ago for a pre-confirmation trip! Feel like I’m there.

Brother, I don’t know if this will help you but here is site that has all the infomantion on the prayer service and all the other Masses he is doing. This has the order of the prayer service on it. 🙂 vatican.va/holy_father/benedict_xvi/travels/2008/documents/messale_USA.pdf

One of the three questions will be asked for ABp. Basil Schott – a Byzantine Ruthenian Catholic. Well done…

The news analysis that I have read is that the HF is not the charismatic figure that JPII was but was more intellectual. I can’t wait to read his speech. But my heart melted when he recalled that HMC responded to Katrina and, indeed we did. The very first shelter for the evacuees was within walking distance of my parish and we responded. Secondly, I cannot explain to y’all what that gift of the chalice from the HF will mean to all of us down here. Archbishop Hughes was Bishop Hughes of Baton Rouge. (Even though he is a Yankee from Boston). But the TV camera focused on Fr. Shelton (who served at my parish) who is now Bishop Shelton - an auxillery bishop down in Da City! We are well unto 2 1/2 years past Katrina/Rita. Hope. Yes, indeed, hope. The HF remembered us. You have no idea how powerful that its.

I know the feeling well. To be in the presence of the pope is truly awesome. Just seeing him like this is awesome as well. We are so blessed as a Church. I just wish we could all realize that and set ill will and ill feelings aside.
Prayers & Blessings
Deacon Ed B

I watched a part of it on EWTN before I had to head out. Very cool, a lot of Latin!
