Bullying comes in a variety of forms.
When I was bullied for a short while, kindness to one of the bullies STARTED to work.
And I just began to emotionally connect with him.
THEN, someone touched my behind one day when I was leaning over to play a shot on the pool tables in the school common room.
Now, when they had done it before (to mock my ‘homophobia’, which was really my dislike of homosexuality) I had just ignored them, tried to laugh it off.
The last time though, I was sooo mad. I went straight up to the person, pushed him back and held him in a headlock. Luckily, I have always been strong, although not physically big.
The guy was actually a long time friend and maintained that he hadn’t actually touched me, but I couldn’t care less who it was at the time. I was just fed up.
Anyway, he came up to me later and sort of apologised, we both ‘made up’ and he remarked that I nearly killed him with the headlock (which was an exaggeration, but still, it hurt him pretty bad).
Word got around I suppose.
The bullying stopped. Just like that.
Whats the moral of the story? I don’t know.
But flexing my muscles got rid of the bullies.
Im honestly unsure as to what I would do NOW if it happened again.
Take what you will from it
Peace and God Bless.
