Pax Christi!

Hope this is in the right place.

What non-Catholic Christian TV programming do you like? I sometimes check out Hal Lindsey and a few others. The news reporting with warnings about the spread of evil is important, even if offered by those seperated from Holy Mother Church.

Irvin Baxter I do not like. He’s very anti-Catholic.

Arnold Murray seems too obsessed with study, and rarely mentions prayer or works of mercy, other than support for preachers/teachers.

Do you get any value out of any Protestant broadcasts? (Jack van Impe, 700 Club, etc.)

God bless.

Some of the ones you listed teach a pretty significant errors called dispensationalism and rapture ideas which are not taught at all by the Catholic church and even a majority of Protestant churches till the late 1800’s. that kind of thinking is pretty anti-Catholic even though Jack Van Impe claims to consider Catholics as fellow Christians. I know that you are asking what non-Catholic shows people like to watch or listen to but the ones you have listed promote serious heresies and should not be listen to by any Cathlic not matter how nice they sound. You also mentioned 700 club and again with all the gafs and false prophecies Pat Robertson has said through the years, I am not sure how any serious Catholic can listen to him. Likewise Pat Robertson does teach a prosperity type message which again is not at all Catholic. I think instead of wasting time watching half baked junk, watch and listen to Catholic shows and programs. Your mind will not be filled with confused false teaching,

We have a couple non-denominational stations here and while I don’t go in for the preaching or news on them, I enjoy the Waltons marathons!
