I didn’t see the new episode. Have to try to catch it on reruns or online.
Is it available online? For one resaon or another, I rarely seem to catch it broadcast, and any time I look for it, I have never found a webcast beyond “clips”.

I have the same complaint for those times when I miss the broadcast of The Big Bang Theory.

😦

I see where it is available on www.fastpasstv.com but I am not sure how legal this site is.

I missed last week’s episode…and tonight, it’s not on at all? And next week, it’s probably not on because of it being Christmas week…did they only make two episodes this entire season? 😃

No, but because Det Stabler keeps getting beat up in every episode, they need to take some time off so he can recover… 😃

Anyone see this week’s? Can you spell…f-a-r-f-e-t-c-h-e-d? :hypno:  Come on, now…that was way way WAAAY far fetched…but I still love that show. 🙂

I liked it. I thought that if you started from the premise (smart and over-the-top villain) they played it well and with a very clever twist. The villain was a bit like the Aussie-accented “Elizabeth” who was a recurring-character nemesis on Law and Order SVU. (My wife liked the new good guy character and wouldn’t mind seeing him in other episodes.)

Anyone see that LGBT episode? It had some good one-liners, had the potentially good twist but went for the expected instead. Kinda weird seeing Benson portraying herself as a lesbian and Stabler getting a kiss from Kathy Griffin.

I love Law and Order, but I’ve given up watching TV (especially by myself) for Lent, so I didn’t sit down and watch. I did overhear parts of this episode, however, since my wife was watching while I was working in and out of the room. This episode seemed to have the usual skillful writing and acting and tight twists, but I did not enjoy the subject matter.

After overhearing parts of this episode, I think I’m glad I gave up L&O for Lent and I just might have to make it permanent. I love it in general, and granted, this episode was more extreme than most, but it made it clear that Law and Order is probably not a show that’s good for me to watch.

*You didn’t miss much, curl. :o Kathy Griffin overacted…bad acting…like reading from a script. It was awful in my opinion, and the whole LGTB storyline…seemed like they were trying waaaay too hard to get a point across. I believe in respecting all persons, I don’t think they delivered that ‘‘message’’ well last night…I didn’t bother watching the second L&O after the 9pm show. I went to bed and read a book. :o I wish they would flesh out the characters like Benson and Stabler more…just don’t ‘‘feel’’ anything for them. They just act too hard all of the time. I dunno, think I’m losing interest. *

Yeah, with the LEBESTRONG message and Kathy Griffin questioning the SVU detectives about their LGBT policy every time she saw them and then the SVU explanation afterwards, it was hard to not miss the message: gay people have rights and are just like everyone else.

I agree with you: she was way overracting. It was either crazy activist or hurt person, no happy medium. The message could’ve been better portrayed if they found a happy medium better the two sides of Babs or just did the latter throughout. The message could’ve been better if “Mitch” had been the rapist, showing that gay people are like everybody else. I found Mitch interesting and then they dropped the ball to the straight guy hating a lesbian because he’s lonely…I think “you straight people don’t understand me” (which was never really explained) is a far more interesting motive!

The next episode was another SVU about prostitute killings. Mischa Barton was a great guest star: I really felt for her character’s dilemma. But again, the bad guy is an extremist stereotype with no real motives or reasons for the audience to sympathize with him or care. This is why I’m losing interest.

Stabler and Benson are getting lost in all these extremist views. Sometimes I feel it’s PSA brought to you by NBC, not a character driven drama…

*Yes–that’s a great insight…PSA brought to you by NBC. LOL

I also think that the stereotype from Kathy Griffin to Benson was obvious…like she assumed she would be interested in women because she is a cop? When Olivia turned Babs down, she looked shocked…and then another woman went into Babs’ room…as Olivia was off of her shift, and Babs was eyeing that woman too. So, does NBC think that gay people will hit on anyone? I didn’t get that. I thought they did a poor job in delivering whatever the message was supposed to be. *

Last night’s episode was better–it had unexpected twist and the villain actually was interesting! More of this…

While I was skeptical about Sharon Stone as the new ADA, I think she was exactly what the show needed. I hope they bring her back in the next season. The last two episodes have been up to previous season standards.
