No offense, but I’ve taken notice of your posts before, and you seem like such a downer. I don’t know why you want to be miserable with everyone. Go outside and smile about something.

that wasn’t a very nice thing to say just because he doesn’t like the same show that you do. you have to admit that some of these people are pretty immoral.

very interesting to read all of the posts. peggy is an interesting character. pete is rather slimy. don’t know if the actor intends to portray him this way. he is ambitious, but seems to have a mean streak to him.

i liked the HBO show about the mafia family better - The Sopranos. although it was kind of violent at times.

i am just disappointed in the writing and character development in Mad Men. too many plots and loose ends. i was addicted the first season, but this season i wasn’t that interested. i wonder if Lane wanted to be written out of the show or what happened.

megan might be a little mix of mary tyler moore and jackie kennedy. she definitely has some issues as do most of the characters. they are all flawed to be sure.

if megan is written out early next season, i wouldn’t be disappointed.

I’m happy I don’t have to see those disgusting James Gandolfini sex scenes. Meghan last season, was like a sweet, quiet French girl. Now she’s Betty 2.0 (dun dun dun music!). Lane I dunno…part of me liked him, but at other times he was such a wuss and a creep.

yes, those Gandolfini sex scenes were pretty repugnant weren’t they!
i guess i missed so much of last season that i don’t remember much of Meghan. maybe because she was so quiet. she definitely got the screen time this season. maybe she is supposed to be showing how confusing it was for women in that decade, but she is not winning any votes with me. lane definitely had a creepy side to him. did they ever develop anything with the girl (the photo he kept in his wallet that his wife found after he committed suicide) or was that another loose end they left dangling? i might have missed one or two episcodes this season. i thought that don and betty were a good couple the first season. i would like to see them get back together again. i don’t like how they are making betty such a mean person now. maybe it is reflecting what happens as a result of divorce.
