TV - Once Upon a Time

I’ve just started watching the series, and I am amazed at how wonderful the series is. However, I just got to one episode in the first season, “Dreamy.” I am still watching it on netflix, but I am slightly worried.

In this episode, we find out Storybrook has a convent. One of the characters, Leroy (really Grumpy) begins to crush on the youngest sister, Astrid (who is really a fairy named Astrid). I have seen the show so far, so I am hoping with everything I have that this particular situation doesn’t go the way of “Nacho Libre,” where an attempted relationship involving a nun is made.

Still, I read the plot for this particular episode, and I was relieved that is not so at the moment. Though I’m not letting my guard down on this front.

regarding Leroy and the “nun”…you have to remember, at this point, they have not regained their memories from the fairy tale world. And actually Astrid is the name for her “nun” self…she’s actually named Nova (that’s her fairy name). Their Storybrooke backstories are fake…so Leroy, still retaining some of his “Grumpy that developed a crush on Nova” self, can’t really help his attraction. We can hope that they don’t do anything more than friendship.

I actually don’t like that they portray the nuns w/o habits, but of course, they are really FAIRIES, not NUNS…so…

19 days and counting!

Anyone else buy the Season 1 set? I bought it on dvd, even though I do have a blu ray player…I decided I could buy the complete series on blu and each individual season on DVD.
