Have you ever wondered if this is a good thing? Can you give up your businesses and just do something else? I have a business that if it burned down I would give my life to something else. Not saying that you could do it but you could certainly consider it. Look to God to tell you what to do. Don’t just despair. Just look at what opportunities will present themselves. Don’t be surprised. Things happen when you least expect them. Ask everyone you know what you can do, and most importantly ask the Lord. Ask my favorite, the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit will fill your heart and give your brain some very important ideas on what you can do to rectify your situation.

Thank you all so much for your continued prayers. God has a plan for us…I’m just doing my job to the best of my ability… Thank GOD for all of you!

Hi Simon,
Fireworks is a full time business. We are direct importers of consumer fireworks. We provide about 90 % of the fireworks used in Alabama. We also service our surrounding states. We had about 112 retail stores last July. Then we had this terrible drought. The loss of income from the drought allowed us to only open 52 stores this time.

Unfortunately, that knocked about 200 people out of a job. Of my 52 stores, I have had 4 break-ins so far. Now we have 24 hour guards and that means more expense.

Having formerly gained a bit of a reputation under the name of “Gandalf the Grey” for posting pictures of fireworks in honor of people’s birthdays on Lord of the Rings forums, I definitely feel for you in a special way, pyropam.

Prayers for you at this 4th of July season, that your business which adds so much color and celebration to life continue to grow and prosper this coming year.
