Twins and life beginning at conception?

I encountered the argument recently that since 2 distinct individuals are not formed at conception with twins how can we argue that life begins at conception. Do you have a good response to this argument? Thanks!
 
Technically speaking I can clone you from your skin cells right now. Does that mean that you are not currently a person with life?

It does not matter when the second life appeared, the first life was present and deserving of love, respect, and protection.
