Two Parish Intentions

Dear People,

My parish is in need of prayer for two intentions.

One is a problem that has been going on for a long time. Both the Pastor as well as the parishioners who do not agree with the instigators are being harassed. Things are ugly.

The other is a rental parish property at which the renters want to make permanent building modifications. The renters have the money and claim they will pay for everything. Things are not “right” here. I normally do not “care” about buildings, etc., but my spirit is not happy with this one!

I now need help in praying for the Lord’s justice for each of the above. Peace at all cost is not what Our Lord wants. Our Lord loves my parish and only Our Lord knows what is best for my parish.

In human terms, this is all going to take years. For Him, a year is a second – and He can resolve this whole thing so fast that our heads would. . . .

Lord, by the help of holy angels, see that justice is done in these two parish situations quickly and in accord with the Father’s merciful will. Send many graces to all involved, that they might strive for this justice, and cultivate in them joy, faith, hope, and love. Lead them all through these matters toward the eternal garden. Have mercy, Lord. Our Lady, angels, and saints, pray with us. Amen.

There were very few people at Mass today and I even took the liberty of doing the sacristan “work” after Mass! :bigyikes: I never “had” to do that before! Just felt so bad for Father having to do it all by himself. He then helped me with the Sacred Vessels! He was so appreciative.

Thank you for your prayers! The Parish does need it oh so much! I cannot “say” more. It is so sad :crying:
 
Heavenly Father, author and inspirer of all things holy,
hear our prayers for this parish.
Send forth Your Spirit that all may humbly be guided by your Divine Will.
Touch their hearts with true generosity to raise up a house of God
for a return of unity and community.
We ask this in Jesus’ Name.

Thank you each for your prayers. Please keep them up. It was really bad yesterday (Sunday). It is a real battle. It is sad. :sad_yes: If we did not have the man of God that our Pastor is, who knows what could have happened? Please do pray for him also.
