Dear People,

My parish is in need of prayer for two intentions.

One is a problem that has been going on for a long time. Both the Pastor as well as the parishioners who do not agree with the instigators are being harassed. Things are ugly.

The other is a rental parish property at which the renters want to make permanent building modifications. The renters have the money and claim they will pay for everything. Things are not “right” here. I normally do not “care” about buildings, etc., but my spirit is not happy with this one!

It is “said” that the Pastor will decide after listening to us. Of course, he must obey the bishop and the diocese owns every property, so I find this confusing to say the least.

First Problem: The first problem continues festering.

Second Problem: The meetings are taking place in the next couple of weeks. The Pastor will make the decision soon after. Of course, whatsoever he decides, because of number one above, it will bring problem/s.

It is as if the enemy is working from within – which makes it that much more difficult.

Please pray strongly for my Pastor.

Please make the diocese authorities see with Your eyes, feel with Your heart, and really realize what is going on and the harm it is causing Your Church. Lord, be in our hearts and lips so that we say things in ways that are up-building and constructive to Your Church. Give us tenants that love children and will not hinder their religious instruction and growth. Jesus, you who protected the fields for my friend and to the town’s amazement prevented the government from displacing my friend, we ask You now to protect the children receiving religious education and their teachers.

Lord, You are Loving and Just. If your Love is not the right thing here, we then humbly ask for Your Divine Justice so that the work of Your Church may continue in our parish – Your parish, Lord.

Help us Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle; be our defense against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do you, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and the other evil spirits who prowl about the world for the ruin of souls. Amen

Glorious Saint Michael, Prince of the Heavenly Hosts, who stand always ready to give assistance to the faithful, who didst fight with the dragon, the old serpent and didst cast him out of Heaven, and now valiantly defend the Church of God that the gates of hell shall not prevail against her, I earnestly entreat thee to assist us also against the painful and dangerous conflict which we have to sustain against the same formidable foe. Be with us, O mighty Prince, that we may courageously fight and wholly vanquish that proud spirit whom thou hast by the Divine Power so gloriously overthrown and whom our powerful King, Jesus Christ, has, in our nature, so completely overcome; so that having triumphed over the enemy of our salvation, we may with thee and the Holy Angels praise God Who has granted the possibility of repentance and forgiveness to fallen man. Amen
