One: do you think that economically lower-class countries are shafted by the World Trade Organization, and do you think the WTO in general disrespects environmental concerns?

Two: is it OK for a Catholic to be a member of and financially support the ONE campaign?

The WTO definitely screws poor, powerless countries, as does the IMF and the World Bank. There is an excellent documentary called “Life and Debt” that uses Jamaica as a case study for this very topic; I encourage you to see it. *“To he who has much, he shall be given more, and in abundance. To he who has little, even that which he has shall be taken away.” *-Gospel of Matthew

The ONE Campaign is great, and to the best of my knowledge, there isn’t any component that would preclude Catholics from participating (I don’t think they have a stance on birth control, for example).

Makes sense to me. Any opposing opinions, just to get a fair observation?
