Please forgive me if this is in the wrong forum.
I’m using both Christian Prayer and Shorter Christian Prayer and have two questions:
Where is the Concluding Prayer on Sunday Evening I?
The evening prayer for Sunday I (Saturday evening) does not have a concluding prayer nor an antiphon after the Cantical of Mary. It says “antiphon as in the Proper of the Seasons” and “Concluding prayer, as in the Proper of the SEasons”.
Now when I turn to the appropriate Sunday entry for ordinary time, I see the antiphon for Evening I but not the concluding prayer. I do see a concluding prayer and an alternate concluding prayer for Sunday morning but not for Sunday Evening I and II. Am I to use these concluding prayer for morning during the evening liturgy as well?
Star at the bottom of the page?
I also notice a star in some places at the bottom of the page. As near as I can tell, it indicates that the verses is continued on the next page? That much is usually clear to me even without the star. I thought I also read somewhere that a pause was to be inserted there? Can someone explain the star?
