How come two threads on homosexuality were erased here recently?
Were they erased or were they moved? I think I remember a couple of thread moved on that topic. Check the Culture of Death forum. How come two threads on homosexuality were erased here recently?
At least one was erased. I’m not sure why, but my guess is that it had something to do with the OP starting to rant about personal revelations. I’m not exactly sure why that should be a reason to delete a thread, though. We’re big boys and girls here and I thought all the responders were quite civil and reasonable. Were they erased or were they moved?
Actually, to be fair, we are not all big boys and girls, some people here are quite young actually (myself not included, lol). The mods here are great, and I’m sure there was good reason if they did delete the thread, as its something that is rarely done.At least one was erased. Then again, I’m probably just upset because I had spent a couple hours posting on it, and it was in fact deleted as I was about to reply again. Ow! my pride hurts.
That was actually the theme of a book I read recently–that the third secret of Fatima was actually Mary’s revelation that abortion and contraception were practically sacraments. It was an embarassingly bad book. Popes and Cardinals clueless about basic Catholic theology, etc.In one of the threads, several private revelations were posted. That is in violation of the Forum Content Rule:
**Do not post material from unapproved private revelations. **
We have to keep in mind that many non-Catholics use this site as well and we can’t have them thinking that we believe the Blessed Virgin Mother appears to us… telling us that it’s a great idea to have homosexual sex. I might read that & think, “yeah right”- but a person interested in our faith may think, “Catholics are nuts.”

This makes good sense. Still, I miss any of my deleted posts. It’s like my children have been deleted :crying:.we can’t have them thinking that we believe the Blessed Virgin Mother appears to us… telling us that it’s a great idea to have homosexual sex.
