Typhoon & Pregnant

Will you all please pray for me as I am 38 weeks pregnant and there is a huge typhoon headed this way. I don’t want to go into labor during the storm or I would like for the storm to veer off coast.

Please pray the storm stays away so that if I do need to go to the hopsital we can make the drive safely and or that I don’t go into labor because of the barometric pressure.

Father, all the elements of nature obey your command. Calm the storms and hurricanes that threaten us and turn our fear of your power into praise of your goodness. Grant this through our Lord Jesus Christ, Your Son, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, forever and ever. Amen.
 
Dear Lord,

You’ve dealt with scary weather before. Please do so again. Our sister here is expecting and is afraid the bad weather will prevent her from getting the help she needs. Please don’t let it! Let her have a healthy baby in a safe environment! And also help all the other people on the island, so they don’t get hurt either. Please, make the typhoon skirt way from the shore. Please do, oh Lord. This I ask in Jesus name.

Prayer for Pregnant Mother and Her Child

Glorious St. Anthony, you were blessed to hold the Infant Jesus in your arms. I come to you now on behalf of HoneyBea, who pleads for the health and safety of the child that God has graced her to conceive.

St. Anthony, guard this life God has created, and the mother God has chosen for this child. Beseech God to protect them from the typhoon. Let your gentle hand, like that of a skilled physician, aid in her delivery so that this baby will know good health and lasting happiness.

May her child be favored with the grace of holy baptism, and grow to love our Lord Jesus Christ above all else in this world. Amen.

I just wanted to report back that we made it safely through the typhoon. I’m still pregnant and healthy. Thank you all for taking the time to pray for us, it brought me much peace and meant so much to me. God Bless.
