U.N. Population Agency Shown Backing Abortion Advocates
New York, Sep. 28, 2007 (C-fam.org/CWNews.com) - Despite regular public denials, the UN Population Fund (UNFPA) has regularly engaged in advocacy for legal abortion, the Catholic Family and Human Rights Institute (C-Fam) reports.
The latest evidence of UNFPA’s involvement in the promotion of abortion comes in the annual report of the Center for Reproductive Rights (CRR), Samantha Singson reports in C-Fam’s Friday Fax.
The UNFPA and its supporters around the world deny that UNFPA supports abortion in any way. UNFPA critics believe this is hard to square with UNFPA programs and program partners.
