That’s laughable. Speaking as a veteran, do you think the military gets a say in what hospital they want? Heck, the entire base is publicly funded. By your logic, the base chapel should have bibles removed…
I’m not for removing religion from the hospital. I’m just saying that if you follow the logic that being used to justify the removal of religion from other areas, separation of church and state, or accepting government money means you have to check your religion at the door, then it’s only a matter of time.

I’m for fighting it.
 
You are correct about the original Walter Reed medical center closing a few months ago. However, a new Walter Reed medical facility was opened a few miles away.
You are correct. The memo was aimed at care partners, which is a term used to refer to contracted medical support, not families. Also, it seems odd to me that this would be in the news now, given that Walter Reed closed a few months ago.
