Washington, DC – Abortion advocates complain bitterly any time pro-life people refer to them using the moniker pro-abortion. However, US News & World Report contributing editor Bonnie Erbe has written an editorial inviting the description as she is celebrating the fact that the poor economy is causing more abortions.

This editor, Bonnie Erbe, cheers the tragic case of a woman who decided to abort her 4th child because of lack of a job, money, etc…

If that were a valid reason, then President Barack Obama would have probably been aborted by his single mother whose husband left her.

Why do these people continually applaud the murder of innocent babies for the most shallow and senseless reasons???

**It’s beyond sick, it’s pure evil!!

It’s the worst kind of evil when money hungry people convince a mother to murder her own baby!!!**

Im thinking maybe we shouldnt be totally pro-life. I kinda support the abortion of liberal editors that do not have a lick of common sense. Ultimately it would make the world a better place and would be one less pro choice dummy we have to worry about.

“I attribute this honor, in great part, to antiabortion activists in the state who succeeded in shutting down six of the state’s seven” abortion centers, Erbe added.
Nice Job, just one more to go.

Random question-What’s the Church’s stance on abortion if having the child endangers the mother’s life? Traditionally is ALL abortion wrong or just 99% of them?

**Abortion is always, always, always wrong and always an avoidable and grave evil!
**
Here’s what the Church has always taught, from the Catechism of the Catholic Church;

"Since the first century the Church has affirmed the moral evil of every procured abortion. This teaching has not changed and remains unchangeable. Direct abortion, that is to say, abortion willed either as an end or a means, is gravely contrary to the moral law:
Code:
You shall not kill the embryo by abortion and shall not cause the newborn to perish.

God, the Lord of life, has entrusted to men the noble mission of safeguarding life, and men must carry it out in a manner worthy of themselves. Life must be protected with the utmost care from the moment of conception: abortion and infanticide are abominable crimes.
Formal cooperation in an abortion constitutes a grave offense. The Church attaches the canonical penalty of excommunication to this crime against human life. “A person who procures a completed abortion incurs excommunication latae sententiae,” “by the very commission of the offense,” and subject to the conditions provided by Canon Law. The Church does not thereby intend to restrict the scope of mercy. Rather, she makes clear the gravity of the crime committed, the irreparable harm done to the innocent who is put to death, as well as to the parents and the whole of society…

Since it must be treated from conception as a person, the embryo must be defended in its integrity, cared for, and healed, as far as possible, like any other human being. (CCC 2271-74).

The life of the mother is always sacred as well, every effort is to be made to safeguard the health of the mother, but abortion is always totally unacceptable.

If in the process of trying to save the mother, while doing everything reasonable to save the baby as well, the baby dies as a result of the Doctors best efforts, then it is a truly sad outcome, but no one is ever justified in murdering the innocent baby.

With modern medical science, babies as young as 4 months old have survived outside the womb!

These “health of the mother, rape/incest…” arguments are the typical lies and diversions the PRO-DEATH CAMP ALWAYS RESORTS TO WHEN THEIR LIES ARE EXPOSED!

It is not an either/or situation.

It should be a WIN-WIN situation where both survive!

Sancta Maria, Mater Dei, Ora Pro Nobis Peccatoribus!

Indirect abortion is permissible, but that’s a misleading term. Its a medical treatment to save the life of the mother; if it is necessary and results in the death of the child, it is not really an abortion. A classic example is a tubal pregnancy or ovarian cancer or something like that. If, to treat the cancer, you have to remove the uterus and she’s pregnant, that’s the result of treating her. Abortion is not the intent, so its acceptable. That’s my understanding anyway.
