In my opinion in England they are obsessed with Contraceptives, Television have loads of ads for condoms, be safe use a condom, instead of trying to instil some Christian virtues of Say No, respect yourself, what about keeping in mind the 6th Commandment (Conjugal infidelity, sex before marriage, contraception, pornography.

Its no wonder they have such a high record of unmarried and single moms, and Dads cannot be found, children are being brought up by a woman only, very lop sided, and not what is best for children especially boys, who in turn act like there irresponsible , unseen Dads.

Pure Pagan.

The above article on the FSRH Quality Standard Contraceptive Service states:

access and choice are fundamental to the provision
of contraceptive services. within the context of
individualised clinical care delivered by trained
clinicians, women and men should be offered a choice
of all contraceptive methods, including long-acting
reversible contraceptives, and should have equitable
access, irrespective of age and GP registration

I do not understand why an article that contradicts the Church’s teaching on life and contraceptive is being posted on this Forum. It seems to me that if a person is in disagreement with the Church’s teaching on contraceptives than they need to consider if they are in the right Church.
Let’s face it the Church’s doctrine on contraceptive is not easy. Than again the teachings of Jesus Christ two thousand years ago was not easy either. God help Holy Mother Church if we engage in Moral Relativism. I for one have no desire to see our Church participate in a race with the Episcopal or Lutheran Churches to be more modern, progressive or relevant to the modern age. :signofcross:

It’s being posted so that other people can read the article, so we can have an informed discussion on the subject, or would you rather we rant about something we know nothing about?

Respectfully, there is more going on here than providing other people the opportunity to read the article so that we can have an informed discussion on the subject. The post had a link to the article with no explanation for the reason of of the post. Have you read the entire article? There is no discussion of NFP as a viable alternative. The article contradicts Church teaching on the subject of life and contraception. This article is a blatant challenge to Church doctrine.
