Is the Ascension feast day transferred to this Sunday according to the Julian calendar for Ukrainian Catholics? I’m Russian Catholic with no parish of my rite. I checked the website of the nearest Ukrainian church but couldn’t find this info.
Looking at my Ukrainian Catholic parish’s church calendar, we will mark the Ascension of the Lord this Thursday, while this Sunday is the “Sunday of the Council Fathers”. We follow the Julian Calendar.
