Umm..Im totally new and have a question

Ok so Im not sure if this is how you ask a question, but I was wandering if you have committed a certain mortal sin numerous times but dont remember how many…How do you confess that?😦
 
Just say “I don’t recall how many times, but it was alot” or something to that effect 🙂
 
If you can, make a rough guess - 'father, I committed sin x about y number of times a day/week/month over a period of z days/weeks/months (if you remember when your last confession was, and can recall whether you confessed the same sin then or started committing it afterwards it’ll give you a rough idea of the time period you’re talking about).
 
when i made my first confession, i said that i commited these certain sins over a period of years - 3 or 4 (looking back it may have been a bit more, i was mistaken, not lying). i couldn’t remember, but i told him it was far too many times.
