When I go to the EF, they hand out those red missals (English version, the Spanish version appears to be blue) that have the order of the Mass, and useful prayers before and after Communion, and a section on Confession and Adorattion. Is there any way I could get a personal copy? The ones I’ve come across are all parish property, and I’m averse to stealing from Holy Mother Church to say the least.

Yes! Thank you!🙂

I was looking for this because even when I go to the OF I really appreciate the prayers before and after Communion, as well as the Confession section.

We use the red books for our TLM because most do not have missals. We also downloaded the moveable prayers and place an insert in each bok we hand out. We catalogue the inserts for use next time we need them. We sell the books for $5.00 to those who wish to have a personal copy. Ask your pastor is you can buy one…

The famous red missalette was not published by Una Voce, but by the Coalition in Support of Ecclesia Dei.

Which explains the standing during the Our Father. I have blacked out the standing so that we are in keeping with traditional practice.

At Low Masses (“Missa Lecta”) you typically kneel during the Pater Noster.

The traditional practice was to kneel at Low Mass for the Our Father, but stand at High Mass.

Indeed. But while I was a member of Una Voce, I was privileged to work with Mary Kraychy when she headed the Coalition. She was a frequent attendee at St. John Cantius. I believe she is the executive director now.

Yes, I worked with her over the years, too. She has run CSED for twenty-something years.
