I know that God is not limited in any ways.
But I have a question here, after reading this
  1. Souls who depart this life in the state of original sin are excluded from the Beatific Vision of God. (De fide.)

I understand de fide to be infallible doctrine of the Church, which is a dogma.
Is it really a Catholic dogma that an unbaptized soul cannot have Beatific Vision?

The church has declared not to make a decision either way, but to say that they are in some way with God. The mark of original sin is VERY real but it doesn’t mean that God doesn’t have endless mercy.

This is why we must offer Masses for the unborn, either lost or intentionally killed. The power of the Mass offered for a soul is like a spiritual baptism in itself. In the very least it’s cleansing, as we pray several “general” confessions during the mass.

Yes, and only God can judge the state of the heart at death, There are different valid Bapisms which God will judge, Baptism of desire being one. And do not forget the purifying process. We believe; and in the end it is God’s call. Peace, Carlan

Does this means that Dr Luwig Ott’s “Fundamental of Catholic Dogma” is not that reliable?
Because this is what I thought: The book’s title claims “Fundamental Catholic Dogma”.

And then he included some theologies which are not dogma such as Sent. communis (theologies that are not certain but agreed by many holy people, has the place for being false), Sent probabilis (theologies which are just speculations), etc,

Then most of of all, he wrongly put that one as ‘de fide’ (dogma) of the Catholic Church?
Which means there might be more errors in his books, or at least the website?

It seems that Catholics can come to a quick decision by Scripture alone, at least on this issue. John 3:5 is quite clear that “unless a man is born again by water and the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of Heaven”. Our Lord was not one to exaggerate or minimise anything in His earthly ministry. Can’t we just trust what He said? 🙂

but at the same time, the Church that He founded which is led by the Holy Spirit, third person in God the Trinity, has not declared it a dogma. Instead, the Church goes beyond it and says there are possibilities of unbaptized person being saved, if it’s not through their own fault that they are not baptised.
